Initiated by two doctoral schools of Normandie Université, PSIME (Physics, Engineering Sciences, Materials, Energy) and MIIS (Mathematics, Information, Systems Engineering) and organized this year by the association OPTIC (Organisation Pour les docTorants Interdisciplinaire de Caen), this exceptional day is revolving around two objectives :

• Sharing and exchanging around tomorrow’s scientific issues and presenting your research subject to a public made of PhD students from one of the two doctoral schools (PSIME or MIIS).
• Enabling interactions between PhD students from similar or different fields, in a friendly and enjoyable setting
  

This event you shouldn’t miss will take place in the Abbaye aux Dames in Caen, an architectural masterpiece built during the XVII^th century, on April 26^th 2018!

What to expect : conferences by experts, posters showoff and oral presentations by experienced PhD students ; to conclude the day, we offer you a free, convivial dinner with an exceptional setting !

This event is free and financed by your doctoral school. Transportation (bus or carpool) will be organized for the students in Rouen and Le Havre, and will depend on the number of participants. We are still looking for more potential students to present their research and results on a poster or, even better, in an oral presentation for a public of scientists from different backgrounds. To do so, please send your abstract in the deposit section!
